Getting Low

Here it coming from the other side
It feels like pain it cuts like dark
In the dog house where you like to hide
Sun fills your head just like a spark
Take stock of stirring in our heart
Just chemicals in blood that flows
The more together the more to part
Shinning like a thing that no one knows

Watching the time
Fading and go
Watching the time
Getting Low

Look like a mystery from apartment five
A spectral vamp a heart a waft
Got a ache that growing in your side
Cant recall the last time you ate
Yesterday or maybe one before
You had a time you had a laugh

Watching the time
Fading and go
Watching the time
Getting Low

Don't care to lessen to your alibi
Just why you did what was so dumb
Tone tempered with aguish cry
Bite at the knuckle on your thumb
Which each blink your measure grows
Each beat of heart a last chance dies

Watching the time
Fading and go
Watching the time
Getting Low

  1. Getting Low was written durning my Garage Band phase. It was written for a young girl that Dylan was seeing at 13 or 14.
